District 10 Toastmasters encompasses the geographic area of Northeast Ohio. This area includes land all the way from Hardin county in the west to Ashtabula and Mahoning in the east and down as far south as Delaware and Harrison counties.

Some clubs meet for breakfast, some at noon, some for dinner and others at a non-meal time. It’s really up to the members to decide. Some clubs are known as “community clubs,” which means they are open to any person above 18 years of age who wants to improve communication skills. Other clubs are sponsored by corporations or organizations, which might restrict membership to their own group. For those younger than 18 who are interested in Toastmasters, there are gavel clubs and Youth Leadership Programs. Both are special youth-focused programs that are sponsored by some local Toastmasters clubs. For information on these, contact District 10’s program quality director.

Most clubs meet weekly, usually for 1 to 2 hours. Some meet every other week, and some meet once per month.  Anyone 18 years of age or older who wants to improve his or her communication skills is eligible for membership.

  2. The links to the complete list, new clubs and prospective clubs in NE Ohio are not working. I am not sure if this is only temporary.

  3. Please advise. The list of new clubs and prospective clubs is provided a 404 error. I am in the Mentor/Painesville area and was looking at joining the Chardon or the Diamond group (in Fairport) but the Chardon site does not work, and the Diamond site has not been updated. Please advise if there are any other clubs in the area.

    Thank you!

  4. To Whom It May Concern,

I hope all is well this week with members of District 10 Toastmasters! I am reaching out because I know you hosted your 2016 conference in Canton and I’m wondering if next year’s conference will be in Cleveland. If so, do you already have a site selected? I am a corporate sales manager at the Embassy Suites in Independence and I would love to mind out what I can personally do to gain your business.

    Kind Regards,
