Are you looking for ways to broaden your communication and leadership skills?
Want to give back to District 10?
Volunteer for the Spring Conference Committee!
We have a unique opportunity in April, and that is to show that District 10 has talent. A lot of times in life we do not get the opportunities we think we deserve.
To grow you must venture out of your comfort zone and try something new and different. That is how you will grow as a Toastmaster and leader. You do not need a title to be a leader.
Our very special guest at the conference will be Balraj Arunasalam, who is the first Vice President of Toastmasters. Mr. Arunasalam, puts his pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us. And he probably has had moments of uncertainty when he stepped out his comfort zone in a new role and relied on his Toastmasters training.
Anyone that has ever held a Toastmasters officer’s position has had the opportunity to get training for that role. There are several chair positions open at this conference. Chairs will have the unique opportunity to work with other District 10 club members that have held that role previously.
So why not step out of your comfort zone and please consider helping in one of the open roles listed below? We need your help in several areas, including promoting the conference at clubs and area and division contests, as well as within the administration, facilities, registration and hospitality teams.
Please contact Lenard Taylor to find out more about volunteering at the address listed below. Thank you for all you do to make Toastmasters a world class organization!
