Show your club spirit and enter the District 10 Fall 2016 Table Decoration Competition
This will be the first District 10 Conference where clubs have an opportunity to assist with the conference, advertise their club, display club accomplishments and win a prize that for the club.
The decorations will be on the round tables that sit 10 people in the main conference room. The decorations should allow conference guests to see the speakers and each other. Decorations should not be too tall (no more than 12 inches) or so wide that it interferes with food service.
The decoration should be in good taste and conform the with conference theme “Going all in, innovate, integrate, motivate!!”. Be creative, celebrate your club and win one of three prizes.
Clubs participating in the Table Decoration Contest must send their entry request by October 15 to the event chair, Gil even at gil.even@gmail.com. There are 20 table available for the contest; sign your club up early to get the table you want.
Competing clubs must have decorations in place Immediately after the business meeting (ends at 8:30 am) on November 5th. A table number will be provided to each club as the club registers for the contest. Judges will score the tables based on subjective opinion of creativeness, layout and appropriateness with the event theme. The judges will complete their ballots and give them to the event chair by 10 am. The event chair and conference chair will total the results. One of the judges will be a tie-breaker judge whose vote will count in case of a tied score. Scoring criteria is below:

Announcement of winners will take place during DTM Minting Session;
clubs may retrieve their decorations as soon as winners are announced.
1st , 2nd and 3rd places will pick prizes from the below list of prizes
- Dinner with District Director (50$ value dinner for the club with Dave Wiley)
- Voucher for ½ day admission to Spring Conference for one Club member
- Full Set of Advance Manuals
- Voucher ½ Page ad in Spring Conference Booklet
The three winning decorations will appear in an article in the district newspaper the issue following the conference with pictures of club members.
