How to Nominate a Member for “Toastmaster of the Year”

Do you know a Toastmaster who did a spectacular job last year (2013-2014)?

Do you feel that person should be recognized for his or her efforts?

Now is your opportunity to nominate a fellow Toastmaster for Toastmaster of the Year!

Recognition is also available for Area Governor of the Year and Division Governor of the Year for those people you feel performed above the job requirements and really made a difference for your club in the 2013-2014 year.

Who can nominate another Toastmaster?

Any Toastmaster in good standing can nominate another Toastmaster for Toastmaster of the YearArea Governor of the Year and Division Governor of the Year

How to Nominate Someone for an Award 

Step 1. Select the correct form.

Step 2. Print the form and fill it in.

Note: There are two pages of things that your nominee could have done but no one has done all of them so don’t be discouraged. Please make sure that you consider accomplishments in the 2013-2014 Toastmaster year only.

Step 3: Write a great recommendation!

In the final question of the form, write the best recommendation you can for your nominee. Please make sure that you consider accomplishments in the 2013-2014 Toastmaster year only.

Step 4: Send in the completed form!

Please send the form to your Immediate Past District Governor, Debora Curtis at You could either scan it into PDF format and email to her, or contact her for a postal mailing address.

What is the deadline to nominate?

Nomination forms must be received by 12 Midnight Saturday, August 23, 2014.

There are many people out there doing good work. Keep in the Toastmaster spirit and recognize them!
